Come as you are on Sunday mornings to experience worship rooted in the living traditions of the church.
- We sing songs (both old and new)
- Hear scripture readings and a sermon
- Take time to share our prayers with one another
- Receive communion
- In our tradition, everyone is invited to join us at the communion table, because we believe that God’s grace is freely given to all people. So that everyone feels comfortable receiving communion, we use grape juice to be in solidarity with those who struggle with alcohol, gluten free elements, and our servers are ready to assist anyone with mobility issues.
If you have children in your life, we want them to feel comfortable in our space, too.
- There is a nursery available for the youngest members of our community. Mrs Jessica is a background-checked, former preschool teacher and is a consistent presence in our nursery every week so kids know who to expect week after week.
- Elementary age kids are invited to head upstairs for kids worship after they get a children's message during the service. Mrs Wendy is a background-checked adult who engages the kids using conversations, arts and crafts, music, and games.
- However, if you feel more comfortable keeping your kids nearby during the service we have a grace space at the back of the sanctuary for them to engage with various books and quiet toys. And you don’t need to worry about the occasional noises that kids make, because we recognize their presence with us to be a joyful gift from God.
